About Me
Who am I?
I am a mother of three gorgeous children (I know I'm biased!) living on the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border. My love of portrait photography started when I followed my little ones around with a camera, trying to capture those special moments. Then I started taking photos for friends. Nothing quite compared to the look on a parent's face when they saw the photos. The dropped jaw, the moist eyes, the silence, then the beaming smile so I took the plunge, gave up my IT job and took up photography professionally. Being a mother myself, I can appreciate the priceless value of capturing those precious times. They go so fast and photographs can trigger memories otherwise lost forever.
My style
Hopefully you can tell from my photos, but I try to capture the spirit of a child or a relationship. Who you are, not just what you look like. I take all photos in colour and then convert them to black and white so you will get both. I use natural lighting as far as possible as this gives a beautiful cast to each picture. As a backup, I also have a couple of studio lights to help with those dull British winter days.
